Best of 2015, Favorite Photos by Lexington Wedding Photographer Cassie Lopez
This year has been good to me. For some reason I always struggle with resolutions. I can say that it is really fun to look back on a year of my own photos. It’s funny to realize that I have felt every possible way this year while working as an artist. I’ve cried tears of complete frustration, stood terrified on the edge of a few modest cliffs, almost fainted from having to pee so badly during one wedding ceremony, driven back and forth between Kentucky and Nashville for weddings way too many times, took portraits of my 89 year old grandfather in Puerto Rico, jumped around dancing to “Come on Eileen” at a wedding reception, photographed my pregnant sister and finally met my niece. I feel good about the wildness. I feel alive. I even learned how to whistle this year after decades of practicing! May 2016 bring more practicing, more acceptance, and more making other people happy.
Here are some of my favorite photos that I took this year.
I do recommend listening to music as you scroll as there are lots of images! I offer one song suggestion below.
